Precision Custom Plastic Injection Molding
Bridging the gap between digital design and mass production. RapidaPlus delivers high-accuracy tooling and scalable injection molding solutions from our ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Zhongshan.
End-to-End Injection Molding Excellence
Custom plastic injection molding is the most reliable process for producing high volumes of identical plastic parts. At RapidAPlus, we specialize in high-precision, High-Mix Low-Volume (HMLV) production, ensuring that even batches as small as 500 units receive production-grade quality. Our engineering-led approach in Zhongshan minimizes the risks of outsourcing by providing transparent communication and Swiss-grade precision.
Reliability & Fit
Tackling the Invisible Forces of Warpage and Shrinkage
Engineers often face the nightmare of "T1 samples that look great but don't fit the assembly." This is usually due to unmanaged internal stresses within the plastic. At RapidaPlus, our Scientific Molding (Decoupled Molding) process monitors cavity pressure and viscosity in real-time. By separating the filling, packing, and holding stages, we neutralize the variables that cause dimensional drift.
Whether you are molding high-shrinkage Polypropylene or high-heat PEEK, our data-driven approach ensures that part #1 is identical to part #10,000, providing you with a predictable assembly experience and zero-defect downstream production.

Functional Integrity
Bridge Tooling: Real Materials for Real Testing
One of the costliest mistakes in hardware development is performing final testing on 3D printed parts that don't mimic the true mechanical properties of injection molded resins. Our Aluminum Rapid Tooling service allows you to bypass expensive "simulants" and use 100% production-grade materials from the earliest stage.
We handle high-performance polymers like PEEK, Ultem (PEI), and Glass-filled Nylon that typical prototyping shops avoid. By receiving molded parts in as little as 10 days, you can conduct legitimate thermal, chemical, and drop tests, identifying design flaws before committing to high-volume steel tooling.

The Strategic Advantage of RapidAPlus
Why savvy procurement managers choose us over large-scale competitors.
Proactive Risk Forecasting
We don't just "report" issues; we solve them. Our engineers perform a deep-dive DFM and Mold Flow Analysis to forecast gas traps, weld lines, and sink marks before you pay for tooling.
Transparent Mold Ownership
We eliminate the fear of "hostage molds." You own the asset 100%. We provide free storage and maintenance, but the tool is yours to export or relocate at any time.
Engineering-Led Sales
Say goodbye to the language barrier. Your primary contact is a Project Manager with a technical engineering background, ensuring your tolerances are understood, not just translated.
Tiered Tooling Strategies
Don't overpay for capacity. We offer 7075 Aluminum, P20 Soft Steel, and NAK80 Hardened Steel molds to perfectly align your tooling budget with your production volume.
Zero-Regrind Materials
Structural integrity is non-negotiable. We only use 100% virgin resins from Sabic, Covestro, and DuPont. Full material CoC and heat-treatment reports are standard.
Turnkey Assembly & Kitting
Receive shelf-ready products. We offer post-molding secondary services including ultrasonic welding, laser engraving, and custom retail packaging under one roof.
Select the Right Tooling Strategy
We offer tiered tooling options to align with your production volume and budget.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about working with RapidAPlus.
For quantities over 100-200 units, injection molding is almost always cheaper per part. 3D printing has no upfront tooling cost, but a high unit price. Injection molding has high tooling costs but a very low unit price (pennies vs. dollars).
Standard aluminum prototype molds start at $2,500. Large, complex, multi-cavity production steel molds can range from $10,000 to $50,000+. Price depends on part size, complexity, material, and required mold life.
Using our Rapid Tooling process with aluminum molds, we can deliver T1 samples in as little as 7-10 business days. Production runs typically follow 2-3 days after sample approval.
ABS, PP, and Polycarbonate are the most popular. For strength, Nylon (PA6/66) is excellent. For high-heat, PEEK and PEI are the gold standards. We can process over 100 different thermoplastic resins.
Common defects include sink marks, warpage, flash, short shots, and flow lines. At RapidaPlus, we use Scientific Molding and Mold Flow Analysis to predict and eliminate these before production.
Yes. We use unscrewing molds (automatic) or hand-loaded inserts (manual) for internal threads. External threads are usually handled by the mold parting line or side-action sliders.
Steel-safe means we leave extra metal on the mold so we can remove it later to enlarge a part feature. It is easy and cheap to remove metal, but very difficult (requiring welding) to add metal back to a mold.
Yes. We can encapsulate brass nuts, stainless steel pins, or magnetic components directly into the plastic during the molding cycle for high-strength mechanical assembly.
We follow ISO 2768-m as standard (±0.1mm). For high-precision engineering resins like POM or PEEK, we can hold ±0.02mm to ±0.05mm depending on the geometry.
You do. Every mold at RapidAPlus is the property of the client. We store it for you in our climate-controlled warehouse for free, but it can be exported to your location at any time.
